The Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Load Balancing Kit 50A (dynamic load balancing package with a current of up to 50 amps) makes charging your electrified Mercedes-Benz even more efficient and safer too. The option of safely balancing the power consumption between your charging station and other devices means you can charge efficiently and protect your mains connection from overload at the same time.

Safety has top priority
The Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Load Balancing Kit (DLB-Kit) provides additional
protection for the vehicle, the house wiring installation (domestic appliances in operation) and the Wallbox during charging. In the case of dynamic load balancing, the building power consumption is measured through continuous real-time monitoring and the charging current is released at the Wallbox if capacities exist. The kit helps you avoid costs by preventing an increase in energy consumption, while at the same time allowing you to reach your maximum charging power.

DLB kit configuration
Your electrician can easily set the possible threshold current strengths using the Wallbox Installations app. You will receive information on building energy consumption as well as a transparent overview of your current charging current and charging history.

Installation
The DLB kit can be easily connected using a cable connection between the switch cabinet and the Wallbox. If you are interested in arranging professional load-management installation of a Wallbox, please contact our installation partner in your country. Installation is not included in the purchase price, but you will receive an overview of the installation costs from our installation partner, who will also be happy to check your home to see whether the Mercedes-Benz DLB-Kit can be installed.
Please note: the installation of the Mercedes-Benz DLB-Kit must be carried out exclusively by persons with appropriate specialist training and is not intended for end-user installation. Please also observe the local specifications and regulations.

You will need the Mercedes me app to receive over-the-air updates. You will then need to agree to the relevant update in the app, or you can configure the Mercedes me App to install updates automatically for you. The technical ability to receive over-the-air updates does not rule out the possibility of problems or other issues occurring that require a specialist to be present on-site.
